Pushing the design to the limit

When we first explored the idea of modularity, we had a brainstorming which resulted in this keyed extrusion. To use it in plastic, in the concept, is new and nobody have done this before. It was a uric moment when we discovered that if we pull this off it will allow us to do exactly what we want.

All our safety products are designed with modularity in focus

Modularity is part of Axelent design philosophy, our DNA, and it’s the way all our system is designed from the beginning. So, for X-Protect to be a truly Axelent product the modularity was parament from the start.

The hardest challenge was pushing the design to the limit. Throughout the whole design process, we could easily have given up on this type of construction design and gone for something more simple.
But we had a strong believe that we could make it work. That is the strength of Axelent. Everyone is so focused of getting everything as its best possible and with the customer’s best interest in mind. We work as a close team, together with our suppliers, and it’s all based on trust and mutual understanding.

The entrepreneur spirit which can be found in our employees and the way Axelent as a company works along with our suppliers is the force that keeps our products unique, well designed and modified down to the very smallest detail.
